FAQs for a Content and Ghostwriter

  1. What is the difference between content writing and ghostwriting?
    • Content writing is creating articles, blog posts, and other written material under your own name or a company’s name. Ghostwriting means I write content that you publish under your name and in your voice, whether it’s a book, blog post, or article.
  2. What types of content do you write?
    • I write a wide variety of content, including blog posts, articles, website content, social media posts, newsletters, and books. My specialty areas are writing books as a ghost writer, journals, articles with research, and research writing in general.
  3. What is your process for ghostwriting a book or long-form content?
    • My process typically starts with a consultation to understand your vision, followed by creating an outline. We then proceed with drafts and revisions, with your input at every stage to ensure the final product matches your voice and intent. Afterwards, I edit my work as well.
  4. How do you ensure that the content matches my voice and style?
    • I take the time to study your existing work, discuss your preferences, and may ask you to complete a style questionnaire. Ongoing communication and feedback throughout the project help refine the content to match your voice.
  5. How long does it take to complete a project?
    • The timeline depends on the length and complexity of the project. For example, a 1,000-word blog post may take a few days, while a full-length book can take several months. I can write 30,000 words in three weeks. We can discuss a specific timeline during the initial consultation.
  6. What are your rates for content and ghostwriting?
    • My rates vary depending on the scope, length, and complexity of the project. I can provide a custom quote after discussing your specific needs and requirements.
  7. Do you require a deposit or upfront payment?
    • Yes, I typically require a 50% deposit before starting a project, with the remainder due upon completion and before you receive it.
  8. How do you handle confidentiality?
    • I take confidentiality very seriously. I am happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) if required, and all information shared during the project will be kept strictly confidential.
  9. Do you offer revisions?
    • Yes, I offer a set number of revisions to ensure the final product meets your expectations. Any additional revisions beyond that may incur extra fees.
  10. Can you provide samples of your work?
    • Absolutely! I can share samples of my content writing. However, due to confidentiality agreements, I may not be able to share ghostwritten work but can provide references or general overviews of past projects.
  11. What is the process if I want to hire you?
    • We start with an initial consultation to discuss your project and goals. After that, I’ll provide a proposal or contract outlining the scope, timeline, and cost. Once agreed upon, we’ll begin the project.
  12. What if I’m not satisfied with the final product?
    • My goal is your complete satisfaction. I offer revisions to fine-tune the content. If there are major issues, we’ll discuss them and work on a solution together. My process involves regular check-ins to avoid such scenarios.
  13. How do you research topics you are unfamiliar with?
    • I use reliable sources such as academic journals, reputable websites, and expert interviews to gather accurate and detailed information on unfamiliar topics. (Image by Toa Heftiba on Unsplash.)
