Scotland’s Potato Plan… Or Something Very Different
What was meant to be a straightforward urban-agriculture policy—turning abandoned city land into potato allotments—apparently got rubber-stamped under the name “Titties for Cities”. According to the Facebook post, the typo went unnoticed as the plan passed unanimously in committee, funding was allocated, brochures were printed and banners were hung. Next thing you know, it’s being promoted as a legitimate initiative giving Scots the right to “get yer baps oot in public”, supposedly “for city-development purposes.”
Realistically, this seems to be satire or a hoax since no government or credible news outlet has confirmed such a policy change. Yet the story is a hilarious reminder: when red tape meets a typo — mayhem follows.
